Who are we?
The Minnesota Medical Association Alliance is a
volunteer health organization made up of spouses,
resident and medical student spouses, domestic
partners, widows and widowers of Minnesota
Medical Association physicians. We join with
physicians to promote the good health of Minnesota
and support the family of medicine.
What do we do?
We educate children and families about healthy
living. Our goals are to:
• Improve the health and quality of life for all people
• Promote health education and wellness
• Foster volunteer participation to meet community
health needs
• Support health-related charitable endeavors
How do we do it?
Since it was founded in 1922 the Minnesota Medical
Association Alliance has developed a variety of health
projects. To carry out these projects we network
with other health organizations and have published
many health resources. Go to www.mmaonline.net
and click on MMA Health-Related Organizations
to learn about these resources. Our resources are
free and you may also download free handouts and
learning modules.
